Principal’s Message

Concord Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how honored I feel to be Concord Elementary’s principal and to share with you a little about myself. My name is Dan Hake, and I graduated from Miami University with a degree in Elementary Education. After leaving Miami, I taught third and fourth grade in Tipp City Schools. I continued my education at the University of Dayton where I earned a Master of Education in Administration. The 2025-2026 school year is my nineteenth year as a building principal. I have served as Concord's principal since the 2013-2014 school year.

In addition to my time spent working with students, I am an avid sports fan and enjoy traveling.  But spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do in my free time. My wife, Kari, and I share a love of education as she is also an elementary principal. We also share a love of our two wonderful girls, Carson and Colby. They keep us very busy. I love working with the students and families that make up Concord Elementary!

Warm regards,
Dan Hake
